Unfortunately, it is not possible to order by phone through our Customer Service Centre. Although our customer service center is able to assist you when placing an online order, you must place the order on your own device. 

If an item is displayed as ‘out of stock’ it is currently unavailable for purchase and can be reordered when it comes available again.

Yes, it is possible to place an order without an account, simply by shopping as a guest.

In the unfortunate event, that you would like to cancel an order you can contact the Customer Service center by phone on working days between 8.30 – 17.00 CET. Restitution will follow within 14 working days. Unfortunately, not all orders can be cancelled. If an order is already prepared for shipment, the order needs to be returned via the standard return policy.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to amend your order once it has been confirmed. We advise you to place a new order and return your order once you have received it.

Yes, it is possible to return multiple orders in one shipment if the required Return Forms are included. Please note that a Return Form must be included for each order.

In the unfortunate situation that you are not satisfied with your order, you may return the purchased goods within 14 days after delivery. Products can only be returned in their original state (product & packaging).

Please let us know the reason for your return by filling in the Return Form, which is send with the order. If the Return Form was not added to the order it can be downloaded below. Returns without Return Forms are not accepted. After the return period (14 days from the delivery date), the purchase is considered as final and cannot be returned anymore.

Balmain Hair offers free shipping to all its shipping destinations. The order amount that enables free shipping applies varies per shipping destination.

• Netherlands: Free shipping from 50 euro.
• Germany and Belgium: Free shipping from 75 euro.

If products are ordered on working days (Monday – Friday) before 3 pm C.E.T the order is shipped on the same day. All orders are shipped with DPD. Once the order is collected you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number. Balmain Hair Professional strives to deliver the order as soon as possible. Packages are shipped from the International Distribution Center located in the Netherlands, the delivery time depends on the shipping destination. In the unlikely event that a product is not in stock, we contact you within 24 hours on working days.

Please note that our warehouse will be closed from December 24th to January 12th, as we will be conducting our year-end inventory and celebrating the holiday season. We appreciate your understanding and wish you a wonderful holiday season.

Unfortunately Balmain Hair is not able to exchange products. If you would like to have another product, you need to place a new order.

Balmain Hair does not offer a free return policy. In case of a product defect, that is in line with the terms and conditions, Balmain Hair replaces the product free of charge and refunds return shipment costs of the defect product.

Boar hair is used as bristles for brushes to clean and detangle the hair. The unique structure of the boar hair bristles carries the hair’s natural oils from the scalp to the end of the hair shaft. By coating each strand with a very small amount of sebum, the brush repairs dry hair and adds lustrous shine without using styling products. Sebum works like a natural anti-frizz serum that repairs dry hair and adds lustrous shine.

All the Balmain Hair styling products contain heat protection, which will keep the hair healthy while using styling tools.

Sulfate is a chemical used in many hair care products that primarily causes the foaming action commonly associated with shampoos. Sulfate when used in abundance may cause some side effects for the sensitive skin, such as redness, dryness and itching. Most Balmain Hair products are sulfate free, but the sulfates that are used in some of the Balmain Hair products are not harmful to humans or the environment. The sulfate free formula maintains the natural oils on the hair and scalp, which leaves your hair moisturized.

Silk Amino Acids also known as Sericin is a natural water-soluble glycoprotein extracted from raw silk. It is used as an additive in skin and hair care products due to its high levels of serine which has excellent moisture preservation characteristics.

What does Silk Protein for the hair?
Silk Protein is useful in elegant hair and skin preparations for its excellent moisture binding properties, repair, and feel. In addition, this non-animal protein source is substantive to skin and hair and provides a protective barrier. Silk Protein will offer the most glide, and silkiness, of all proteins / amino acids. It reconstructs damaged areas, reinforces the hair’s strength and revitalizes the hair for a soft, supple and shiny result.

Argan Elixir or Argan Oil is obtained from the kernels of the Argan tree. A natural anti-ageing ingredient, creating lustrous-looking shine, repairs and protects damaged, dry and weak hair from environmental extremes. Argan Elixir is extremely rich in vitamins (particularly vitamin E) and is unrivalled by any natural and manmade product in providing its unique blend of natural oils, minerals and fatty acids.

What does Argan Elixer for the hair?
Argan Oil hydrates the hair in a natural way by penetrating deep into the hair pores and shafts to enhance the elasticity of hair. It creates lustrous-looking shine and repairs and protects damaged, dry and weak hair from environmental extremes. It is also an additional benefit of Argan Oil that it cures the brittle hair and increases the life of color treated hair without weighing it down.

The Signature Fragrance

The Balmain Hair Signature Fragrance is a subtle fragrance used in almost all Care & Styling Products, except for the Balmain Homme line. The unique blend of the finest key notes creates an uplifting experience that appeals to all.

Top note: star anise, tarragon, pinewood, peach blossom, raspberry, gardenia
Middle note: orange blossom, cloves, jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, apricot, lilac
Base note: amber, vanilla, sandalwood, cedar wood, white musk, balsamic

The Balmain Homme Fragrance 

All Balmain Homme products are perfumed with the intense oriental, woody fragrance of Balmain Homme that combines the invigorating citric freshness of Bergamot with the woody aspect of dry Sandalwood.

Middle/Heart note: Olibanum, Black Pepper, Lavender
Base note: Patchouli, Vetiver, Amber, Sandalwood

All products of the Care & Styling collection are vegetarian instead of vegan. One of the key ingredients in the Care & Styling Collection is Silk Protein another commonly used ingredients is Cashmere. No animals are harmed during the process of deriving ingredients such as Silk and Cashmere. The silk moth emerges from the cocoon prior to processing the Silk and Cashmere wool is collected during the spring moulting season when goats naturally shed their winter coat.
