Hair, why wear it on your head?

Balmain Hair on the cover of the magazine Le Salon! And not once, but twice! The cover is part of Arabia, a joint creative project of NIK, DJANGO and Balmain Hair. The idea behind the photoshoot is creating a complete Black & White concept with ‘Hairdresses’. The end result is a small collection of 5 amazing couture dresses of hair.   Piet-Jan Duivenvoorden: “The pictures of hairdresses you find on Google are more bear skin look-a-likes with a lot of hair on top of each other. Huge robes, not feminine or sexy at all. This had to change. Together with DJANGO (winner of Project Catwalk) I have designed the dresses. For this result we wanted the best quality of hair in black and white. Balmain Hair is the only one who offers this with AA quality and tailor made on the right color, structure and length. The end result is a small collection of 5 couture dresses of hair. With a great success, the first steps to both national and international fame of NIK, DJANGO and Balmain Hair, have been made during the show of the Coiffure Awards on May 15th in Amsterdam RAI.”
